THE STORE

Greg and Julie Veilleux relocated to Bar Harbor from the south shore of Boston. After working in a family-run home furnishings business for ten years, we brought to our own business a wealth of hands-on experience and strong work ethic with a commitment to customer service. These have been the cornerstones of Window Panes’ strength on Mount Desert Island. The Downeast Maine area has provided us with an exciting environment to grow our family business.

JULIE VEILLEUX

Co-owner with her husband Greg, Julie’s favorite thing about owning Window Panes is the face to face interactions with the customers. She loves being resourceful for her customers and sharing new finds with them. When not in the store, she enjoys spending her time hiking, biking, kayaking, snowshoeing, yoga, photography, and socializing with friends and family.

GREG VEILLEUX

Co-owner with his wife Julie, Greg’s favorite thing about owning Window Panes is seeing returning customers and catching up. He also really enjoys the energy that the new employees bring each season. During his free time he enjoys the outdoors, doing things like hiking, wilderness canoe trips, fishing the area’s lakes and ponds, biking the carriage trails, and spending quality time with family.
